BEVA's member of the month

Deirdre was selected as our first ever Member of the Month. Nominated by her colleague at McGonnell and Gillatt Horse Vets, Deirdre is celebrated for being an out of hours superhero who despite having the worst luck manages all of her late night call outs like a champion.

Stuart from Summerleaze Equine Vets was nominated alongside Antonia Milner and the entire practice for the support they gave to a new team member who after many years in the charity sector returned to ambulatory work. As practice directors, Stuart and Antonia are recognised for their willingness to discuss cases, creating fun events, and being 100% there for the equines and team.

Vicky Jux of Stable Close Equine Practice was nominated by a colleague for leading by example in every aspect of work life. She's recognised for uplifting spirits, providing unwavering support, encouragement and care.

John Pate was nominated for being a true inspiration at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. To his students he encourages them to consider a career in equine no matter what their background and to all with his commitment to raising money for Marie Curie in memory of his Mum.
