Our coaching scheme aims to unlock the potential of recent graduates.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a form of learning where a person (the coach) supports someone else (the coachee) to create personal growth that will benefit them. Coaching conversations will help coachee's reflect and think about their options so they can come to their own considered decisions about their careers. Coaching is usually a series of conversations between the coach and the coachee.

What to expect from a coach?

The coach will provide a kind of support distinct from any other by focusing solely on your situation. They will listen to you and build conversations that will help them understand who you are, what you think and how you experience the world.

What your coach will expect from you?

Your coach will need you to be open to the potential of coaching, that means contributing to the conversation open and honestly.

How might coaching benefit you?

Coaching may benefit you in a variety of ways. We know that entering the equine veterinary profession can be challenging and feel quite intimidating. By having a coach, who has been in your shoes before, you can discuss your career goals and work with them so that you:

1. Have an increased sense of resilience

2. Have an improved sense of direction

3. Have an increased self awareness

4. Have increased motivation for your job
