The FEI would like to remind veterinarians about the use of the FEI HorseApp to register equine influenza vaccinations for FEI Horses.
Timeline
Since the beginning of 2025 it has been required to record the equine influenza vaccination details in the FEI HorseApp (Art. 1002 FEI Veterinary Regulations).
The digital registration of vaccination details will be strictly enforced as of 1 January 2026; therefore, your participation and support are key in maintaining accurate up-to-date vaccination records on the FEI HorseApp.

Why use the FEI HorseApp to register vaccination details?
• You ensure compliance with the FEI Veterinary Regulations.
• You contribute to faster and more efficient veterinary processes at FEI Events, including the Examination on Arrival.
• You help maintain accurate, traceable records for each horse.
• You actively improve biosecurity measures and promote high health standards across the sport.
Important information and resources
The horse’s passport remains the official record of vaccination details. During this transition period, the horse’s participation at an FEI Event will not be affected if no or incorrect vaccination details are recorded in the FEI HorseApp.
