We are an established, first opinion practice near the fabulous Jurassic coast in Dorset.
We are looking to replace one of our long standing assistants who has sadly decided to leave us to focus on family commitments.
We have a modern, well equipped clinic at our base in Whitcombe Racing Stables with excellent inpatient and diagnostic facilities including operating room for general anaesthesia and elective surgeries. The role is both ambulatory and clinic based, with a broad range of clients from pleasure horses to top-level competition and race horses.
We would be happy to hear from colleagues wanting to develop their skills and career with the support of an extremely knowledgeable team. The position may also suit an experienced colleague looking for a new challenge, with long term prospects and an opportunity to be involved with the development of the practice.
As an independent practice we are in a position to be very flexible in adapting the role to meet your needs and ambitions.
We can offer:
• Full clinical autonomy with the opportunity to work up your own cases and develop your
specific interests
• Frequent visits from surgical and medical specialists
• 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
• Equally shared rota - currently 1 in 5 weekends with a day off in lieu after every weekend
worked and weekday nights shared equally

• Generous CPD allowance, VDS, RCVS and BEVA subscriptions paid
