Tickets are now on sale for BEVA’s new Christmas Cracker CPD event at the London International Horse Show (18-22 December 2024). It combines all the excitement of the equestrian world’s favourite Christmas extravaganza with outstanding professional development. Following the success of last year’s pilot CPD event places are likely to fill up fast, so early booking is advised.
BEVA's Christmas Cracker is a festive celebration aimed at bringing members together to learn, share ideas, and catch up with friends. This year the two-day programme is themed around Pre Purchase Examinations (PPEs) for the sports horse and will address the challenges of these PPEs and how to tackle them. Organised by Safia Barakzai, Sarah Boys-Smith and Philip Cramp, the format is strongly discussion based and delegates are invited to share experiences, upload cases in advance or bring images on the day.
Day one will cover the leg, foot, back and sacroiliac, with a focus on imaging, from acquisition to interpretation. The day will close with an open discussion followed by a drinks reception. Speakers will include Vanessa Peter, Peter Milligan, Rachel Read, Philip Cramp and Sarah Boys-Smith.
Day two will cover image acquisition and interpretation of the neck, cardiology and respiratory noise with speakers including Richard Hepburn, Emmanuelle Van Erk, Philip Cramp and Sarah-Boys-Smith. The course will conclude with open discussion and a summary.

All non-member tickets include a 12-month digital BEVA membership. The membership will be set up within seven days of receiving payment for your CPD booking and expire 12 months from the date that it is activated.
