Two exhibitors at this year’s British Equine Veterinary Association Congress (13 -16 September 2023) have won awards for their inspired use of stand space this year. They were voted for by BEVA delegates in a competition sponsored by Veterinary Practice magazine. Delegates voted via the BEVA congress App, identifying exhibitors who showcased their brand with panache and a welcoming ambiance.

Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging won the Veterinary Practice Best Free Design Stand Award for their inviting and stylish home-from-home sitting room, complete with sofa, armchairs and bookcase, dressed, with personal pictures and books from the team’s own homes.

Annie Makin Chief Commercial Officer at Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging said: “We are very proud to have won! We worked closely with our marketing agency BrandTall, to develop a compelling campaign, for which our stand was the central feature. The stand design is intended to encourage equine vets to embrace the wider accessibility of 3D diagnostic imaging of the distal limb, with Vision CT, our unique standing leg CT. A favourite aspect of our stand is our classic oil painting which comes alive with a 3D horse jumping out of the frame, depicting a leap into the future.”

Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging is an award-winning global leader in innovative diagnostic imaging solutions. They provide safe, effective and affordable advanced imaging for practising veterinarians.

Stallion AI Services won the Veterinary Practice Best Shell Scheme Stand Award for the second year in a row. Their lively and colourful stand is a favourite with delegates especially because of their coveted free sperm key rings!

Tullis Matson, owner and managing director of Stallion AI Services said: “The BEVA stand awards are becoming more competitive every year and we are really pleased to have won again, against some stiff competition. Thanks to all the delegates who voted for us.”

Stallion AI Services, based in Shropshire, is a world class stallion facility specialising in AI services and products. Using the latest laboratory technology they provide a wide range of services including semen freezing and storage, fertility testing and fresh, chilled and frozen semen distribution. Stallion AI also works very closely with the Rare Breed Survival Trust to help preserve the genes of rare equines.

Jocelyn Thompson, BEVA Events Manager said: “The exhibition hall is absolutely buzzing with atmosphere and there is so much innovation and style on display with the stand designs. We are delighted to show our appreciation by running the stand awards each year and are grateful to Veterinary Practice magazine for sponsoring the competition.”
