This brand-new course forms part of our preventative medicine theme for 2026, specifically looking at injury prevention and prehabilitation. Through case-based discussions and practical sessions you will learn how to maintain a horse’s physical fitness, identify risk factors for injury, use techniques for early detection of issues, and implement successful management strategies.
The aim of this course is to demonstrate how each member of the veterinary team plays their part in maintaining and improving performance. To offer these perspectives we will be joined by an expert in biomechanics, a Master Saddler and Master Farrier.
