About this course

Obstruction by strangulating lipoma (SLO) is one of the most common causes of small intestinal strangulation in horses and is fatal without surgery. SLO is dramatic and its seriousness provokes real fear among owners, so what can we do to reduce the risks?

In this webinar, Deborah Archer, Alex Gillen and Louise Southwood draw on their own experience and research to discuss risk-reduction strategies for strangulating lipomas including the requirement for weight management.
