What’s essential about equine insurance?

Well, at one end of the spectrum, understanding how it works will help you provide the most effective diagnostic and therapeutic services to your patients, your knowledge will help you to keep your clients happy, and it will help you to avoid complaints, delays and financial complications.

At the other end of the spectrum, if you get it wrong you could end up in prison for insurance fraud…

Sounds pretty essential to us.

This one-day course is aimed primarily at new graduates and practitioners who wish to update their knowledge of equine insurance matters. It will provide an overview of the available categories of insurance together with the implications for, and responsibilities of, the veterinary surgeon. The course will also include an element of relevant CPD relating to acute fractures and colic.

Fee:
BEVA Members £245
Non Members £490
