This blended course combines online learning with a practical, in-person day to give new graduates and vets returning to practice a strong foundation in lameness assessment and management. You’ll gain hands-on experience with nerve and joint blocks, lameness investigations on live horses, and case discussions, all guided by experienced clinicians.
acute and chronic laminitis management, common lower limb diseases, and considerations for insurance and referral. During the practical day, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss, demonstrate, and apply these topics under expert supervision, learning when to refer cases for advanced diagnostics.
This course is aimed at new graduates and vets returning to practice who want to refresh or develop practical skills in lameness assessment, laminitis management, and farriery. Small group learning ensures you receive plenty of hands-on experience and individual guidance.
