About the Course
Working as an equine veterinarian is one of the most dangerous civilian professions to be employed within, with the majority of injuries a direct result of the horses behaviour. However, these are normal behavioural responses to an acute stressor for this species.
This course will give you a practical understanding of how learning theory can be employed to develop a safer and less stressful working relationship with your patients.
Furthermore, we will begin to explore how to investigate the horse that presents with unwanted ridden behaviour. Is it due to pain, behaviour or both.
|
Excellent, thought provoking, hugely useful information that’s applicable to all aspects of veterinary care.
