Advanced Discussion Forum: Orthopaedic Soft Tissue Injury

This course brings together the best minds in the orthopaedic world, including Mr Andrew Carr; human orthopaedic specialist from the Nuffield Trust and widely published vet Dr Lisa Fortier from Cornell University. Joining them is Professor Roger Smith from the RVC, who has pioneered stem cell treatments. Focussing on intra-synovial healing of tendons, ligaments and menisci remains challenging in all species. This course aims to discuss the clinical challenges of these injuries, the scientific background to the problem, and therapeutic strategies for treatment and management.
