Bourton Vale Equine Clinic are inviting applications for a veterinary surgeon to join their team of 13 vets. The role would be most suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years experience or someone who has recently completed a hospital-based internship. The position is primarily ambulatory but with free access to the hospital facilities, equipment and the support of our two diploma-holding surgeons. Previous experience performing general anaesthesia is desirable, though not essential.
The ambulatory vet team have access to radiography, ultrasound, videoendoscopy, shockwave and laser therapy plus the referral facitilites at the hospital; including Hallmarq standing MRI, gamma scintigraphy and fully-equipped theatre facility with a rope-assisted recovery system.

The out of hours rota is shared on a 1 in 5 basis with a day off in-lieu awarded per weekend worked in addition to a 6-week holiday allowance per annum. CPD allowance is 1 week with a budget of £1750 per annum. Additional benefits such as enhanced maternity pay and a Westfield Health package are also available.
