The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science is an established and forward-thinking school at the University of Nottingham. We have recently adopted an innovative dual intake system whereby cohorts of 150 undergraduates begin in September and April each year.
We are now seeking a Teaching Assistant in Equine Practice and Imaging to join our equine team and help to continue to deliver the educational standards we have become well known for. This person will be a key part of our exciting journey, as we continue to push the boundaries and develop a world-leading veterinary school.
The post will involve delivering undergraduate teaching and assessment and provision of a clinical service. The successful candidates will work predominantly at Pool House Equine Hospital, a Clinical Associate of the School. The role will be hospital based, supporting diagnostic imaging for the specialist led surgery, sports medicine, internal medicine and dentistry teams. This would include MRI acquisition, radiography and endoscopy.
The staff member will also play a key role in the delivery of an innovative equine curriculum as part of an internationally recognised team of clinical teachers. They will support both undergraduate teaching and learning, and postgraduate education. RVN or MRCVS is required for this post.
The post is offered as a full time (1.0FTE) position.
