An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join CCEV: an independent equine ambulatory practice based in Marlborough, Wiltshire (established 2025).
Cross Counties Equine Vets is a progressive, performance-focused practice with an emphasis on sports medicine for the elite equine athlete. We provide a bespoke and high-level veterinary and dental service tailored to the needs of racehorses, sport horses, and general practice clients by combining advanced diagnostics with practical, results-driven care. Our team is committed to supporting horses at every stage of their career and work closely with trainers, riders, and owners to optimise health, soundness, and performance through a collaborative and forward-thinking approach.
We are looking for an experienced assistant to join CCEV with an opportunity to play a key role in the continued development and growth of the practice as we expand from 1 to 2 vets. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in equine orthopaedics, sports medicine and performance horses.
Modern diagnostic equipment available including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental oroscopy, shockwave and portable gastroscopy.
