Weston Vets – Stud Based Position, Nr Banbury
Weston Vets are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an entry-level equine veterinary surgeon to join our team, working closely with and supporting the in-house vet at a busy and progressive thoroughbred stud.
This role offers excellent hands-on experience, particularly suited to a new graduate or recently qualified vet looking to develop practical skills in a supportive environment.
The Role Will Include:
• Assisting with and performing routine scanning
• Supporting during foaling season
• Medicine management and stock control
• Day-to-day veterinary support across the stud
• Working collaboratively with in house lead vet
The Ideal Candidate:
• A veterinary graduate or newly qualified vet (MRCVS member)
• Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
• Strong interest in stud work and equine reproduction
