Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club (ADEC), a leading equestrian venue in the Middle East, hosts of world-class racing and FEI competitions, is seeking a junior assistant equine veterinarian to join its established Veterinary Clinic team.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performance equestrian and racing environment, supporting sport horse, racehorse, riding school and livery clients.
The successful candidate will assist the Senior Veterinarian in daily clinical operations and contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of veterinary services at the club.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in equine veterinary practice
- Ability to work effectively and independently as required in a dynamic, performance-driven environment
- Confident with a varied caseload, an interest in orthopedics is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a professional, collaborative approach with staff and clients
- Willingness to support weekend and event-based work as required
- Good organizational, planning and record keeping skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Desirable Attributes
- FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian
- Prior experience with racetrack or event work
- Awareness of Middle Eastern culture
