EXPERIENCED EQUINE VET – JOIN OUR THRIVING INDEPENDENT PRACTICE

 Are you an Equine Vet with at least 2+ years’ experience looking for your next big move or just curious about what’s out there? Our well-established, independent practice would love to hear from you.

 We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, ambitious Equine Vet to join our dynamic team of 11 equine vets and 6 vet nurses/assistants. If you’re ready to bring your expertise and enthusiasm, here’s what you can expect:

Competitive Salary: £40–53K (dependant on skills/experience)

• Location: Beautiful Oxfordshire, serving surrounding counties

• Work-Life Balance: 4.5-day week (flexible options, 4-day week available)

• OOH: 1:7 rota, with extra time off after weekend on-call

Your Role

Work with state-of-the-art facilities accessible either on site in our Equine Clinic or out on the road – digital radiography, gastroscopy, ultrasound, video endoscopy, surgical & therapeutic lasers, and more.  Our diverse and varied caseload includes sports horses, racing yards, studs, and pleasure horses with racing work available for ARVS-qualified applicants.

Enjoy clinical autonomy where you will develop your own caseload and client base.  With strong mentorship and support from our extensive team when needed, we champion continuous learning, encourage certificates and tailor CPD to meet professional interests.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ equine experience

• Interest in stud work is beneficial

• Full UK driving licence & own vehicle
