Support for BEVA New Graduates
Every year the Trust assists a new generation of vets by sponsoring BEVA New Graduate courses. These courses ensure that recently qualified vets become competent and capable in theory and practical skills. The Trust recognises that veterinary schools do not have the time or resources in a busy curriculum to allow undergraduates to become proficient in more specialists areas hence these courses are aimed to give assistance. This year the Trust has agreed to sponsor the AI for New Graduates Course and the Equine Dentistry for New Graduates Course. Biennially the Trust also sponsors the very popular and firmly established Essentials of Equine Practice Course, which is an intensive weekend course aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice of working in an equine practice. This course always received excellent feedback from delegates with comments such as: “This has been a highly valuable practical hands on course” “The tutors provide heaps of useful practical tips, it was a great way of learning so much in such a short time.”
BEVA Trust Funded Practice Client Meetings

The Trust is currently funding a series of educational Practice Client Meetings, which have been extremely popular. The meetings are designed to educate those directly involved with the horse i.e. owners, trainers, riders and grooms and have proved an excellent platform to raise awareness of important subjects/topics through stimulating talks and discussions. Whilst the practice provides the venue and catering, The Trust covers the cost associated with a speaker delivering a 45 minute presentation. To apply for BEVA Trust support for a Practice Client Meeting and wish to obtain a speaker list please email Nadine Head
