Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role as an Equine Surgeon at The Equine Hospital located in Riyadh. As an Equine Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures on horses and ensuring effective treatment and care of equine patients. A passion for horses and surgery is a must, as is a strong desire to work in a team-based atmosphere. A large portion of the caseload includes sports medicine and orthopedics, making expertise in these areas highly valuable.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from a recognized veterinary school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Equine Surgery (desired but not required).
• Experience and independence with surgical procedures for horses.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a positive attitude.
• Focused, detail-oriented, flexible, and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and a team player.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Equine Surgeon.
• Experience with horses utilized competitively in a range of disciplines.
