The RCVS Council elections opened on the 14th March - This year 13 candidates will contest the six available seats on council, these include five existing Council members and eight new candidates.

BEVA member Chris Tufnell of Coach House Vets in Berkshire is standing for re-election, whilst fellow member, Thomas Witte from the RVC is looking to be elected to Council for the first time this year.

Please take the time to read the manifestos and consider them carefully when voting, to ensure that our sector of the veterinary world is appropriately represented in the corridors of power.

Voting is now open and all RCVS members should have received ballot papers with full voting instructions earlier this month. Members may vote online, by text or by post and all votes must be cast by 5pm on Friday, 26th April.
