The 18th Irish Equine Veterinary Conference is running from 8 to the 10 November 2018 at Celbridge Manor Hotel, Co. Kildare and BEVA members can attend for the same price as Veterinary Ireland members. 

They have organised a top line up with a Wetlab running at Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital on Thursday 8 November followed by two full days of equine veterinary lectures.

Carolin Gerdes joins Pat McCue as the main speakers of the conference. Carolin formerly of Rossdales will lecture on back pain, sacro-iliac joint disease and proximal suspensory desmopathy and Pat McCue, Colorado State University will speak on ovarian uterine, cervical and oviductal abnormalities. Alongside these leading names there will also be a series of presentations by emerging young vets who will outline their approaches to several interesting topics. 

BEVA President, Renate Weller will be there on Saturday to present ‘The horse – a miracle of bioengineering or a really stupid design?’ followed by ‘Lay incorporation of Veterinary Practice’ which she will be discussing with Keven McConnell.
