The ARVS Summer Meeting 2019 aims to provide an in-depth introduction to the Thoroughbred Sales industry from the veterinary perspective, as well as including information on sales preparation and procedures. We are privileged to have Dr. Stephen Hance, an internationally recognised expert in Thoroughbred Sales as the main speaker for the meeting. Steve’s main focus will be on Veterinary Processes and procedures at sales and interpretation of sales radiographs. Steve has worked around the world so will provide an international perspective. The programme will also include topics such as: Preparation of horses for sales, financial impact and sales endoscopy. There will be a panel discussion related to the musculoskeletal impact of sales preparation on young Thoroughbreds. In addition, we are fortunate to have Dr. Richard Newton attending to provide his perspective on equine influenza and infectious disease as they relate to TB sales.
