Equine Reproduction at the Next Level: a practical based masterclass

This two day course is aimed at the equine veterinarian already performing a considerable amount of equine reproduction work. The course will provide practical instruction from renowned experts in their field. The course will be held in an informal and instructive atmosphere enabling discussion of any problem areas with the techniques described that delegates may have. The key elements of learning will be advanced mare and stallion ultrasonography including Doppler techniques and assisted reproductive technologies including, but not limited to embryo transfer. In addition advanced semen processing skills will be taught. The delegate ratio allows for plenty of opportunity for all delegates to be fully involved.

There will be a course meal held on the Wednesday evening for all delegates, at the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel. Accommodation is available to book at this hotel, alternatively for other hotels, please see the attached accommodation list.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Cancellation more than 6 weeks prior to the start of the course: A refund will be made less a 10% administrative charge.
  • Cancellation less than 6 weeks prior to the start of the course: No refunds can be guaranteed, but if BEVA can resell the place a refund will be made less a 20% administrative charge.
  • Transfer of Delegate: Booked places can be transferred to another person. If the transferee is not a BEVA Member he/she will be liable for the difference between the Member and Non-Member delegate rates.
  • Insurance: All delegates must have appropriate liability and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Safety: Delegates must bring appropriate safety wear (coveralls, hard hats, boots etc) to courses involving practical sessions.
