Job Description

The caseload will consist of:
• Sports horse breeding with fresh, chilled and frozen semen
• Thoroughbred studwork
• Embryo transfer with a small herd of B&W recipient mares
• Stallion assessment, semen collection and evaluation for shipping commercially and as part of fertility examinations for both resident and walk-in stallions

Facilities at the B&W Willesley stud include reproduction lab, stallion collection facilities, stable and paddock options for resident mares and accommodation block for resident stallions. This is supported by services at the main B&W Equine hospital in Breadstone, Gloucestershire, which is run by diplomates in medicine, surgery and imaging and includes two surgical suites, intensive care unit, MRI, CT and Gamma scintigraphy.

Job Description
The successful candidate must be a dynamic team player with excellent communication skills having the ability to provide exceptional client care.
The role also includes regular non-stud ambulatory duties, both routine and for emergencies as part of the wider Willesley team.
Out of hours, including weekends, are covered on a 1:4 rota basis. B&W run a compressed hours working scheme resulting in 45 hours over a 4 day working week.

The vacancy is for a Full-time position. However Part-time or Job share maybe considered.
