We are a 7 vet independent equine practice located in beautiful Kinross-shire, Scotland looking for another experienced equine vet to join our friendly, dynamic team.

We have all of the equipment and kit that you would expect and a purpose built clinic with full surgical facilities that supports a client base of both pleasure and sports horses.
Our vets are primarily ambulatory with a percentage of time spent at the clinic working up their own cases and assisting with surgeries where required.
Our team is made up of both full and part-time vets, who work 4.5 days per week and a 1:7 OOH rota. All of the vets take an equal share in the rota and extra support is always available if things get busy. We are ideally looking for someone to work full-time but are very flexible and open to another part-time vet.
Our team work to a very high standard and are all committed to providing an excellent level of care to our patients and their owners. Professional development is prioritised, CPD is expected and fully supported and we are currently funding certificates for four of our vets.
We have a team of experienced equine RVNs to support our vets both in and out of hours and they play a crucial role in providing our patients with the very best care.
Our team’s wellbeing is very important to us. Lunch breaks and paperwork time is allocated, food including lunches are provided, regular 1:2:1s, practice meetings and vets’ clinical meetings are prioritised.
Your package will include VDS cover, RCVS registration, subscriptions to BVA and BEVA and a CPD budget of £1000 and up to 5 days. We will also support and finance a certificate with Liverpool if this is something you would like to do. Holidays are 28 days including bank holidays and an extra day for every year worked up to a maximum of 35 days. A company car is available and a competitive salary is provided along with an out of hours bonus for calls attended.
