Job Description

We are looking to recruit an experienced, energetic team player, who is confident to take charge of their caseload, whilst working within a team of 5 equine vets.
The ideal candidate will have the ambition and enthusiasm to help grow and develop their own skills, whilst able to work collectively in a team environment when working up more advanced cases.

You will be part of a busy, dynamic ambulatory team, and equipped with mobile DR, ultrasound, gastroscopy and endoscopy. You will have the opportunity to work cases up with clinic facilities and the backup of an Advanced Practitioner in Equine Internal Medicine and visiting consultant surgeon.

An interest in equine orthopaedics and surgery would be an advantage.

The hours are full time (42.5 hours), currently working as a 4.5-day week; the on-call rota is equally shared between all vets, currently working a 1:5 rota. Career development is actively supported, with post-graduate qualifications encouraged.

The vacancy is for a full-time position, however part-time or job share may be considered.
