Racing orientated veterinarian
An exciting position has become available for a racing orientated veterinarian to service 4 expanding young thoroughbred trainers based in South Australia and Victoria and 2 leading standardbred trainers in both states.

Digital radiography, videoendoscopy, ultrasonography, shockwave therapy and an in-house laboratory are available for use. With easy access to equine dynamic over-ground endoscopy and treadmill endoscopy included in the clinics diagnostics.
The position would be based in Adelaide, South Australia however, require routine travel to service 3 major stables in both states and follow patients across the country and possibly to South East Asia and New Zealand. These stables would be the focus of the individuals work servicing approximately 200 thoroughbred and 60 standardbred horses in each state and include attending yearling sales across the country and in NZ.
Remuneration would be in the range of £4000-£7000 per month on a contract basis, with all the usual additions (car, phone etc etc) the ability to also work on a percentage basis or bonus system is available if desired. Work permits/visa options etc will not be a problem ,irrespective of age.
This position is supported by 2 experienced clinicians however will require a ‘hit the ground running” approach, commitment to the trainers’ philosophies and desires to succeed, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and with initiative.
