We have a vacancy for an experienced equine clinician to join us at Peasebrook Equine Clinic in Broadway, Worcestershire.
We are an independent three vet practice with a purpose-built hospital having 8 in-patient boxes and a spacious operating theatre with two recovery boxes. In addition to the theatre, we have a standing surgical room which is also useful for our advanced dental cases which have regular support from Chris Pearce and Nicol du Toit from the EDC.
The majority of our ambulatory caseload is located within 30 minutes drive from the Clinic and encompasses all aspects of equine veterinary work. We are fortunate to have some lovely, quality clients with whom we have a great working relationship.
Lameness workups are all carried out at the hospital where we have designated safe trot-up and lunging areas.
All surgery is done in-house, mostly by Tim Galer but we also have visiting specialist surgeons if required. We regularly consult with medicine experts who will see cases at Peasebrook if necessary.
We have the latest digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy equipment but refer locally for MRI, CT and Scintigraphy for imaging purposes only, with the workups being done back at Peasebrook.
The Clinic is well known for providing rehabilitation services for all types of sports horses. Our facilities include a cold spa and a variable gradient treadmill. We also have an arena adjacent to the Clinic for ground schooling, ridden assessments and pre-purchase examinations.
This is an excellent environment to gain experience in all aspects of equine veterinary work within a friendly, supportive team. Equally we are more than happy to welcome a specialist to enhance our clinical capabilities. CPD and certificate studies are fully supported. Accommodation is available on-site if required.
This is potentially a permanent position with succession opportunities if desired.
