BEVA Congress

Widely regarded as the world’s best Equine Veterinary Congress, BEVA Congress is renowned for its world-class science, its large lively commercial exhibition and its excellent friendly social events.  

This year's BEVA Congress will take place between 10th-13th September at The ICC in Birmingham, UK - right in the heart of one of Europe's most vibrant and exciting cities.

The programme is spread over 3 days, with 5 concurrent lecture theatres of science desinged for vets throughout all stages of their career, whether an undergraduate, leading Specialist or mixed practitioner. Vet nurses (Hall 10 on Saturday), farriers (Hall 1 on Saturday), equine physiotherapists (Thursday) and equine dental technicians (Friday) can also enjoy sessions that are specifically focused on their particular areas of expertise.The three-day event covers more than 20 different subjects and provides over 90 hours of lectures to choose from. The programme offers excellent presentations on a variety of aspects of equine medicine and surgery and the session formats range from traditional lectures through to panel discussions, interactive round table forums, and 'how to' sessions.

Medicine Workshop Taster Materials - Saturday PM Hall 9

The medicine workshop is a popular session to hone your diagnostic skills using a range of clinical cases. The material is being made available in advance to allow you to 'mull over' the cases.

In this session you will have the opportunity to quiz the regulators about regulations in sports horses. This is your opportunity to ask any questions about current or proposed regulations, such as the ban on anabolic steroids. As always questions can be asked in person, or you can tweet questions using the AskTheRegulator hashtag #ATRBEVA or by completing the form on this link
