David Mountford

Chief Executive

As Chief Executive, David looks after the smooth running of the Association and tries to keep the BEVA office in line. When not managing all things BEVA, David is often to be found spending time with his family and an increasing menagerie of animals, out on the Rugby pitch coaching,  or donning his trainers and has recently completed a half marathon. 

Nadine Head

Office Manager

Our office manager, Nadine spends her time juggling motherhood, bunnies and the BEVA office (mostly keeping David in line!) When not in the office or looking after BEVA Council, Nadine can be found spending time with her family, the original BEVA office dog, Bessie and with her bunnies which she breeds and shows.

Jocelyn Telford

Marketing Manager

Joss is our multi-talented sports woman, who when not in the office looking after our commercial partners, is most likely to be found out on the river with her rowing club, or on the Netball court. Joss has also just completed her first half marathon, the first of many we’re sure! Joss is also the proud owner of two Tortoises',Tina and Dave, who occasionally make trips to the BEVA office.

Clare Ascroft

Membership Administrator 

After looking after the BEVA membership, Clare can be found looking after other people’s animals, one of which being the office sandwich thief Amber, as well as two scruffy horses. Clare is usually up for a challenge which generally means jumping off or out of something and has her sights set on a spot of wing-walking in the hopefully not too distant future.

David Hicks

Programmes Administrator 

We’ve all heard the stories about Dave and his lycra one-sie (BEVA Newsletter August 2011) and it’s true, when Dave is not looking after our CPD events and all things Programmes related, he is a keen tri-athlete and has just completed his first full marathon after which he swore he would never do one again....we don’t believe him!

Effie Brooks

Financial Administrator 

As our resident northerner and we have great fun debating the correct way to say ‘bath’ and ‘grass’! Effie has the important job of looking after the books, so we make sure she waits until after the hard work is done before enjoying the odd Sambuca or two. When not in the office, Effie enjoys spending time with her family and animals, including office regular and stand in paper shredder, Poppy the spaniel.
