BEVA Laboratory registration Scheme

The British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) Laboratory Registration Scheme is for the testing of CEMO, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Granting of approval for the first time depends on a laboratory achieving fully correct results in an initial QA test. Subsequently, maintenance of approval in each year depends on the approved laboratory demonstrating satisfactory performance in two routine QA tests per year. BEVA publishes a list of approved laboratories annually.
