The FEEVA Board has presented the final guidelines to assess fitness for transport of Equidae, The guidelines have been produced following extensive research and consultation by the stakeholder group coordinated by FEEVA and World Horse Welfare. On 4 February, they were presented to the European Commission who welcomed these clear and simple guidelines, saying “These guidelines will be an essential resource for anyone involved in the transportation of horses, donkeys, mules or their hybrids and I am pleased that the Commission has been able to support their production and dissemination.”
