A big congratulations to BEVA Council Member (and annual dinner organist) Chris Pearce, who was named as Pet Plan Equestrian Vet of the Year at the annual AHT Equestrian Awards earlier this month.
Chris qualified from Liverpool in 1990 and has worked in private practice since. He specializes in equine dentistry, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. As a horseman himself, he understands how important horses are to their owners. He is a great all-round vet and a pioneer in advancing the cause of equine dentistry, to improve horses' welfare, comfort and longevity. Chris has been involved with BEVA Council for some years now and is a regular speaker at CPD events as well as Congress.
Nominations for the award were made by clients and colleagues and were judged by a panel comprising a representative from the BEVA presidential tree as well as reps from other areas of the industry.
