The Society for Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) and the Mind Matters Initiative (MMI) have launched this year’s Vet Wellbeing Awards and are taking entries at www.vetwellbeingawards.org.uk. This year, the entry form is split down into shorter, bite size questions which we hope will make it easier for practices to enter.
In the previous two years we have seen some outstanding stories from our winners about the steps they’ve taken to improve wellbeing and the difference it’s made to their teams, their business, the clients and the animals they treat. Practices have told us that by involving the whole team in the entry process, sharing ideas and generating feedback, this became an exercise in engagement and provided a useful audit of their practice wellbeing.
If you are proud of your practice’s culture of wellbeing, then tell us about it and you could be one of this year’s winners. Winning practices in each of three categories, large, small and medium sized practice, will win 2 places, banquet tickets and accommodation at VMG-SPVS Congress which is held at the 5 star Celtic Manor Hotel.
You might also like to nominate your ‘Practice Wellbeing Star’, a new initiative for 2018. Further details are also available on the Vet Wellbeing Awards website
For further information and to enter, visit www.vetwellbeingawards.org.uk.
Good luck from SPVS and RCVS Mind Matters Initiative.
