Become An Associate MEMBER

As someone who is working in a role related to the veterinary profession you can join BEVA as an Associate member.

With our associate membership you receive access to all of our benefits and can choose between online only or print membership. The only difference is with an online membership you won't receive the journals in the post.

Associate Membership Guidelines

Associate membership is designed for non-vets and non-veterinary nurses who have an interest in equine veterinary care. You will be given access to the same benefits as other membership categories which we believe will be of interest and of use to you. However you should be aware that the many of our communications, advice and activities are for veterinary professionals.

Associate membership does not confer any status on that member nor does it imply any qualification or approval granted by the Association.

Associate members are not entitled to use their BEVA membership status in any marketing materials.

Any associate member found contravening these guidelines will have their membership cancelled without refund.

Becoming A beva mEMBER

A BEVA membership gives you access to all BEVA benefits listed on the BEVA website for a 12 month period. Your membership should be paid for at the time of taking out the membership, and can be made online by credit or debit card. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, and a receipt will be sent by email once payment has been confirmed.

If you would prefer an invoice for the membership, please contact the BEVA office. All invoices should be paid within 7 days of purchase. If after this time payment has not been made, we may restrict the benefits available to you until the membership has been paid.

BEVA reserves the right to request further evidence to support your application.

Whilst there are systems in place to reduce the creation of multiple applications and accounts, we cannot accept responsibility for existing members creating multiple membership accounts via the online application service and please be aware memberships are non-transferable.

Membership fees are subject to review and may change annually. BEVA may decide to increase membership fees at any time. Members will be notified of their renewal price at the point of renewing.

Your right to change your mind

If in the first 14 days of joining BEVA you change your mind about being a member you can cancel your membership and receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel your membership you must notify us in writing. If you have made any event bookings at the member rates you will be changed to a non-member for that event and an invoice will be generated to cover the remaining balance for the non-member price.

Cancellations and refunds

Payment for membership cannot be refunded once paid. If membership is cancelled part-way through a membership, then no refund can be offered, and full payment still needs to be made for the duration of that membership year. This does not affect your right to cancel within the 14-day cooling off period following purchase.

If you have any questions or require assistance when becoming a BEVA member, please contact us.
