Full Course Programme

This course covers how to use therapeutic exercise including physiotherapy as the foundation of rehabilitation of the equine athlete and how the following therapeutic modalities can be used: Whole body vibration, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, aquatic therapy, ESWT, radiofrequency therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, laser and pulsed electromagnetic therapy. On both afternoons, several of these modalities will be applied on clinical cases during the 7 hours of practical small-groups sessions.

The course fee includes lunches, coffee/tea breaks, extensive electronic course notes, a wine & cheese reception and a certificate of attendance. Attendees can choose to only attend the lectures (= Lectures Only) on this course or can register for the entire course (= Lectures & Practical Sessions). Early course registration is recommended as there are only a limited number of places available due to the practical nature of this course.
