The assessment and management of pain are critical for the welfare of horses. There have been considerable advances in our understanding of pain, its assessment and management in the horse over recent years. This course will provide practical and evidence-based updates on equine pain assessment and pain management. The speakers have both clinical and research interests in these subjects, and the information presented will have practical relevance to all vets working with horses – be they in general practice or in a specialist surgical practice. Learning will be enhanced by a discussion of clinical scenarios at the end of the day. The course will also be helpful to practices working towards the pain management module / award of the practice Standards Scheme. Course Fee: BEVA Members £280 Non-Members £560
