Equine Cardiology – beyond the basics

25 Jun 2019 - 25 Jun 2019
09:30 - 17:15

University of Liverpool,
Leahurst Campus,
CH64 7TE

Do you want to advance your diagnostic approach to equine cardiology beyond auscultation? Do you want to learn how to perform an ECG in practice and what can it tell you? When should you consider referring a case and what treatment options do you have in practice? How can you determine if a murmur found at PPE is significant? What about interpretation of cardiac disease in poor performance cases?

This interactive one-day workshop is aimed at equine practitioners or veterinary surgeons who may have already attended the BEVA “Hands on Equine Cardiology course” and are looking to gain a deeper level of understanding and expertise.

This course has been designed for veterinary surgeons wishing to perform more advanced diagnostics than auscultation, with a focus on clinical decision making. There will be an integrated practical session and case-based discussions under the guidance of our specialist tutors.

Please read and adhere to the BEVA Biosecurity Instructions for Practical Courses, which can be found
