book iconAbout the Course

You’ve heard something you’re not quite expecting, do you know what it is? If not, can you clearly describe it to a colleague?

Is this horse safe to sedate? Will they pass a PPE? Can the owner continue exercising it?

Hands-On Cardiology is a blended course which through two webinars and one highly practical day will take you through characterising and identifying abnormal cardiac sounds in colic and poor performance cases, and foals. You’ll get hands-on experience examining horses with cardiac problems and gain insight into how to approach electrocardiography and management of common dysrhythmias.

There are three parts to this course, a webinar prior to the practical day, the practical day as well as a webinar following the practical day. To complete the course delegates should participate in all parts of the learning.
