Job Description

This will be a mainly ambulatory role and we are fortunate in that the Practice area extends over some of the most stunning scenery in the North West. We are based at Settle, right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, and our RCVS accredited premises has full surgical facilities, with a further well equipped clinic near Blackburn and satellite clinic space near Kendal. We have all the usual toys to be expected in a modern Equine Practice enabling us to deliver high quality care to our clients either on the road or in the clinics.

We look after the full range of horses, from Frankel progeny to hairy Shetlands, so there is plenty of scope to develop your own caseload. Certificate study is encouraged and funded. We are open to part time working or other ideas around creating the right work/life balance to enable us to enjoy living in such a beautiful part of the world.

We are proud to be independent and are members of XLVets, a group of likeminded Practices and people who share knowledge and best Practice alongside the benefits of exclusive CPD and employee support.
