We are seeking a full time experienced equine clinician to replace our colleague joining academia. The successful candidate will join our friendly and supportive team in Kilmarnock, close to the beautiful Ayrshire coast and with convenient road and rail links to Glasgow (30 mins drive) and central Scotland.

Veterinary Surgeon
You will join our 6 vet equine team, including certificate holders, within a larger mixed practice. We are a well-equipped established practice with an excellent local reputation and offer a very high standard of care with in-patient and surgical facilities. Our case load is varied and includes leisure horses, sports horses, racing and stud work. You will deal with both ambulatory and clinic based cases and will be able to investigate your own patients with adequate back up from our experienced team as required.
Clinical interests are encouraged, with generous funding for annual CPD, RCVS, VDS, BVA and one other professional membership, with additional non-clinical benefits package.
Excellent, friendly client care and communication skills are a priority. Equally shared equine only rota. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
