You will work alongside a small, friendly team which services a large coastal strip from Helensburgh to Bawley Point. Our team consists the Managing Partner, another associate veterinarian and two support staff. The practice also supports Veterinary Student Placement which will give you the opportunity to share your valuable knowledge and experience.
Most of your day will consist of ambulatory practice which will allow you to become familiar with your new home. You will be equipped with a well-stocked fleet vehicle, a portable crush, dental power float, ultrasound, endoscope and a portable digital x-ray machine to assist you in your work.
The position involves racetrack, reproduction and pleasure horse work and is suited to someone who is motivated, willing to learn and be part of a young, friendly, professional team.
We are affiliated with Randwick Equine Centre and Southern Highlands Equine Centre, so specialised advice and referrals are only a phone call away.
Our on call roster is 1 in 3 promoting a good work/life balance. Remuneration is well above award and dependant on experience. The salary package includes a car and phone for work and personal use.
