An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with high standards and good attention to detail to join a small enthusiastic team dedicated to top class equine reproduction.
Our purpose built unit is well equipped with a wide range of facilities including multiple stocks, stallion collection area, semen & embryo processing lab as well as the usual digital x-ray, shock wave therapy and ultrasound scanners etc.
We are based in beautiful Westonbirt, just outside of Tetbury, with excellent transport links to Bristol, London and M4.
You will be working closely with the Stud Manager and reproduction vets in all aspects of stud and veterinary work including assisting with scanning mares, sterilising equipment, semen processing and freezing, stock control, quality and biosecurity control, general equine management, foaling and keeping accurate records for inspections and audits. This is a varied and interesting position for someone who has a keen interest in equine management, breeding and lab work.
Training can be provided where necessary.
