We have an excellent opportunity for you to join and steer our practice team at Severn Edge Equine Veterinary Centre in Bridgenorth Shropshire
In the role you will be working with dedicated and supportive colleagues who provide 1st opinion equine services to a well-established and growing client base across Shropshire. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership, management and support for both clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
- Taking overall responsibility for the clinical and behavioural standards within the practice, ensuring they are in line with the RCVS code of professional conduct and the CVS Clinical Governance standards.
- Working in partnership with the Practice Manager, Head Nurse and Reception Team to optimise service to clients and patients.
- Overseeing the financial performance of the clinic, in conjunction with the Practice Manager and Operations Director.
- Delivering and maintaining the highest standards of governance in relation to clinical meetings, CPD, clinical development planning and creating clinical frameworks, clinical audit and the recording of unexpected clinical events.
- Providing appropriate care to patients, adhering to the RCVS five principles of practice.
