Job Description

We are looking for a veterinarian who is ready to practice high quality medicine in a collaborative environment. We work hard and play hard as we believe that a quality work/life balance is essential for longevity and profitability.  Our Veterinarians meet weekly to discuss case management and practice logistics, so the ability to provide insight and receive other perspectives is a must.  Ambulatory wellness is the foundation of our practice, but team members provide advanced medical care, dental, sports medicine and reproductive services. A few of our veterinarians are also FEI vets and the owner of the practice is a world class equestrian so you can be guaranteed we have all the toys you’re looking for.

This is not a practice where you’ll be given a truck and supplies and sent on your way. This is a complete, collaborative working environment where you’ll have your own assistant who will drive, set-up procedures, clean up, complete truck inventory, and overall be your right hand.  Staff includes an intern, veterinary assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and veterinarians certified in chiropractic and acupuncture.

Our highly competitive compensation package is to be determined with respect to experience. Opportunities for continued learning are as important to us as they are to you. Benefits include medical, disability and liability insurance, CE, licensing, professional dues, vacation, and license fees. AAEP & AVMA membership, practice vehicle and minimum of two weeks annual vacation also offered. Plus, with this being the largest ambulatory practice in the area, the on-call requirements are far less than typical.

Other than working for 3H Equine Hospital and Mobile Veterinary Services, the Raleigh area has so much to offer to ensure a great work-life balance. Living in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill means having access to cultural facilities like the Durham Performing Arts Center, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Contemporary Arts Museum and the North Carolina Symphony. Meanwhile, cafes and bars around the area's university campuses are enjoyed by students and residents alike. More than 20 craft breweries have made the region their home, further improving a growing food scene. Also, the area has the most live music venues in North Carolina. This family-friendly area also has a children's museum, 200-plus parks and a 152-mile greenway system for safe biking and hiking. Raleigh and Durham is a great place for sports fans, with college athletics and professional hockey, soccer and baseball teams.
