12 Month Equine Veterinary Internship
Intern place available at Fyrnwy Equine Group from August 2019.
Opportunity to learn from two European specialists, as well as ambulatory vets and partners.
Accommodation and car provided.
12 month internship in Shropshire at a large ambulatory and referral practice with significant studwork component, ideal for newly qualified vet surgeon or someone looking to improve their knowledge and skill set.
Varied workload including surgery, lameness, equine reproduction and anaesthesia.
Referral caseload overseen by European Specialists in Equine Medicine and Equine Surgery offering a full spectrum of routine and emergency services
Extensive involvement with in-patient care and general anaesthesia
Small, friendly team of veterinary surgeons
Fortnightly journal clubs and monthly textbook rounds
Programme of practical tutorials throughout the internship
Out of hours in-patient care required, with full nursing support
Accommodation and car provided.
