Equine Orthopaedic or Sports Medicine Specialist/Diploma Holder - Locum

The Centre for Equine Studies is made up of a skilled, motivated, experienced team. We are looking for a diploma holder in equine surgery, orthopaedics or sports medicine for our referral clinic, to work as a locum clinician in our Equine Orthopaedic team. Supported by a Junior Clinician, two interns, qualified veterinary nurses and highly skilled technical staff, the role is to provide a top class clinical service to our referral-only clients in orthopaedics, poor performance and sports medicine.
We have excellent inpatient facilities, floodlit trot up area, a large ménage, ultrasound, CR radiography, standing and GA MRI, scintigraphy, and stocks specially designed for hindlimb diagnostic analgesia. All the indoor diagnostic areas are spacious with rubber flooring. We have full surgical facilities, a skilled team of anaesthetists, and our front of house team are knowledgeable and supportive. We also run a weekly Journal Club and clinical research, while not essential, is well supported with an extremely experienced and diverse research team on site.
