Registered Veterinary Nurse or Patient Care assistant!
Our nursing team are looking for an RVN or PCA with equine experience to join our team. We are a referral hospital based in Gloucestershire and see a varying case load ranging from general riding horses up to top level competition horses. With this in mind no two days are the same!
Although equine experience is a requirement for this role, we are open to putting support and training in place for the nursing aspect of the role and have a team who was well set up to provide in house training for all aspects of the role as required. We also actively encourage CPD both internal and external. Equally we would be interested in applications from experience individuals to complement of team who are at varying levels of experience.
Aspects of the job will include general nursing duties such as, but not limited to, theatre nursing, diagnostic imaging, laboratory work, intensive care & neonate nursing, as well as assisting Veterinary Surgeons to carry out a range of procedures such as complex dental cases, internal medicine cases & poor performance examinations.

Our rota consists of varying shift patterns and has an out of hours requirement on a rostered basis.
