Equine Veterinary Nurse

Hambleton Equine Clinic is growing and we’re recruiting a Registered Equine Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are a well-established, purpose built equine clinic in beautiful North Yorkshire with a fantastic, close-knit team. We have a full range of modern diagnostic equipment as well as full theatre and hospital facilities with inpatient capacity for over 20 horses. Our case work includes everything from leisure, performance and sports horses, racing and stud work.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and a team player with the ability to operate efficiently in a busy clinical environment and work to a very high clinical standard. They will have experience working in an equine veterinary practice, with an understanding of equine surgical procedures (both GA and standing surgery), reproductive services and intensive care nursing including foals, however, you will be exposed to all types of equine nursing.

The role requires you to take an equal share in the out of hours on call rota currently set at one week night every other week and 1 in every 8 weekends.
